We have no identity whatsoever.

To me that's the biggest problem. What is the way we play? What are the ideas behind our play? What is our philosophy? Every single time we look like we put 11 random men together and let them play a game of football in the local park. We can only win through flashes of individual brilliance.
Allegri had more than enough time to work something out. We’re not gonna win every match but in a league as weak as this with adversaries as shitty as they are we shouldn’t be struggling for a third season in a row. And we’re not even playing Europe  Can’t use that old excuse players are tired and so on.

I’m all for giving the coach more than just a single season so he can have proper time to implement his style and philosophy.

But this guy hasn’t improved shit. He’ll make top 4 though so we’re all good. That’s what the club is all about now.

Everything that goes wrong becomes the manager's fault. Some of that is true. But if you looked at the play of this club Saturday vs against Lazio, it's like the whole side was constipated.

Decapitating the coach ain't gonna fix that.

The world must be a very simple place for you.
i posted this in the ukraine-soviet thread: it's also a polarized world, you're either camp black or camp white, be it music, sports, science or politics. there are no middle grounds. the allegri thread is the prime example of it. for the simpletons you're either a hater or a throater, zero middle ground.

if you want allegri out, you have to insult him every day, otherwise you're automatically a throater, period.

that's true but he still has to be decapitated. letting him keep his job after haifa = letting tek walk after the umpteenth blunder. the club simply lowered the standards which is unacceptable.

Heads have to roll.

We are Juventus. We need to win trophies every year. If we don't, people will get fired. That is the message we need to send. And in the case of Allegri specifically it would be well deserved anyway. He was given ample time. It's not the best roster of players Juventus has ever had, but it's still among the best in Serie A. But Allegri doesn't even seem to have an idea of he wants them to play.

Your point is valid. No manager is to be blamed for everything and certainly not individual mistakes. But ours had 2 whole seasons to figure out a system and make it work consistently. That’s precisely his job.

Also adding to your point, we can’t have a squad that’s a roller coaster. One day playing like they give a shit followed by a total disaster. We should be comfortably winning against lesser teams week in week out. It’s his third season and we’re way past any excuses.

That own goal though was possibly the most amateurish goal I’ve ever seen in my life from a top football club. It looked like something a 7 yo kid would do.

Our gameplan seems to be that, at some point, Chiesa will do something.

I know I've had a lot of debates with people about the insults aimed at Allegri. And I still believe they are unacceptable. But we really need to let him go and build a new identity. This is just awful.
Yeah I'll freely admit that I've had my fair share of insults directed at him but I've never wished him ill personally. Its just that for the job you're getting paid an outrageous 9m a year to do and failing at that, I have very little sympathy for such a person. Even less so when he tries doubling down on any criticism; he's arrogant and stubborn. We shouldn't be getting worked up over a few mean words. After all, jokes on us fans who will have to reap the consequences of his destruction while he enjoys the lavish retirement we've gifted him.

Should have been sacked a long time ago but it’s clear now that he’s staying until (minimum) the end of his contract. That is, if this clueless club does t extend his contract for another couple of years.

His comments have been Delneri-Esque since his return. He has nothing more to give or offer this team but mediocrity.

When asked who the leaders in the team were he named Danilo, Szczesny, Alex Sandro...and that Rugani had grown a lot. Lmao.

This says it a lot, it's a big problem how much we lack leadership.
btw i can't even blame players for individual errors. yeah it's surely annoying and frustrating but who are we kidding. evra talked about the insane workrate and discipline at juventus, which was heartwarming to listen to. too bad that club doesn't exist anymore. somehow we need to rediscover the same enthusiasm and willingness to prove ourselves as a club that started the winning streak with agnelli, marotta and conte. now we might have our next marotta, but our president is a passenger and all the coach has is the faded glory of his own winning streak. bottom line is that it all starts with the club. not a single good juventus was lead by nobodies.
