If I'm Soule, there is no way I'd consider Juventus. I'd just stay at Roma if he wants to stay in Italy.

I kinda expect more from Thuram, but there's no way I'd label him as a fail.

Chico is fine too. He's a solid back up even if we buy a great winger.

How Thuram played was the most Locatelli would be able to pull off. The difference between them is that we'd easily sell Thuram because he's good, unlike Locatelli, since nobody would be insane enough to buy him.

Having said that, I'm sure we have plenty things to see from Thuram. The guy is still 25.

I'm not even saying he's a world class player, but we have soooooo many flaws in the team, he should be the last thing to worry about.

I am not saying sell him. But objectively speaking he had consistent average to below average performances all season. And he just skated by with barely any criticism. And not true on the first sentence. Since Locatelli has more lowl lights worthy bad passes at times. But he generally defends better, controls and dictates the midfield in somewhat useful way even in lesser games.



While Thuram is just physically there but loses/miss passes just as much if not more and barely wins any duels, his impact has been very low over half the season.


But agreed we have bigger issues, its why he escsped so much criticism or has any real pressure on him since he doesnt seem to have much expectations.



Either way its no point comparing them. Neither will go anywhere. But without playing favourites. Its insane to me someone can watch all the games of last season, and come out of it thinking Thuram wasnt clearly the worse player to Locatelli. Bar is low, but still true imo.

When we consider beeing a professional club we have to evaluate the players we have and the results given. If there are no consequences after so many years than we will stay trash. Its nor sympathy or antipathy, its just cold professionalism what i am asking for.

Soule is an AMR, so the position where we covered it mainly by Chico, and than 1 year time to time by Nico. Thats why it has to be brought in debatte, if you like or not. And selling Soule to get these guys (Chico, Nico, Zhegrova) was and still is a stupid decision in my view.
So whats your problem?
