so yes 4.5m doesn't seem like a big amount, but you are ignoring the other 16m + wages

we knew for a year now what the weaknesses of the team were and that budget would be an issue. priority should be going towards immediate needs. not what maybe can be or possibly is a problem next year.
I'm not ignoring it, I don't know what 16m in wages is.

Apparently officially confirmed that he will wear the #29 for this season.

It’s Perin who took over the #1 from Tek.

From what i understand it was the #16 that would have been his first pick but i guess will have to do without for now, what matters most are the performances and to adapt to the pressure.

it's going to be hard to cheer for him.

completely unnecessary and expensive signing when club is already broke.

first mistake he makes and people here will crucify him and the club

Did you ever see the documentaries on the 1992 USA Olympic bball "Dream Team" or "The Last Dance" on the 90s Chicago Bulls dynasty?

Michael Jordan & Scottie Pippen made it their personal mission to destroy future Bulls teammate and Croatian superstar Toni Kukoc. It had nothing to do with Kukoc, but everything to do with the Bulls general manager Jerry Krause.

That's what this is. it's not rooting against Di Gregorio, but what he represents. It's the idiotic buffoon who brought him in and absolutely mangled how he managed the club this summer.

29 is an ugly number and has no historical significance for any past player IIRC. So what’s the deal? Does he not want to disrespect the number 1? Perhaps a good decision if so, otherwise it’s a silly choice.
It's to make sure he will only concede 29 goals in a season no matter how many matches he has to play /s

Sucks to be him. He keeps getting a 6 rating in every game because he is as much of a spectator as us watching the game. I don't think he has had to make a serious save - he made a small one against Verona but thats about it so far.
