a few weeks ago we saw catanzaro - bari live at their stadium. old school small venue, typical southern city and crowd, they really love football. i also watched some of both playoff games on dazn and catanzaro looked like the better team too. monza were pretty lucky to go through, both catanzaro club and city deserved more
Perhaps that’s where the Sommer rumors kicked off from, maybe they want to swap them around?
Sommer is in full decline for them too so it’s expected that’d they look to ship him off to a bitter rival that is drooling over getting in players with ‘experience’ and ‘character’, whereas it makes sense for Merda to be open at taking back home one of their moles after accomplishing his mission of ensuring Juve finished outside of top 4, they’ll probably even keep some hope DiGregorio finds again his Monza form for future plusvalenza or otherwise just using him as backup GK for half the wages Sommer is on.

Ok largely scrap that because it looks like Sommer will be a free agents this summer already
So the idea of them shipping him off in a swap with us to get rid of his salary doesn’t seem the case, instead we might just be linked to Sommer because of him being a free agent, whereas not sure anymore why would Merda risk paying anything for DiGregorio, looks unlikely.
