Money simply isn't real in the EPL. Liverpool paying €100m+ for Barcola is highway robbery. He's nowhere near that valuation, yet their supporters couldn't care less. I spoke to a few Liverpool fans recently and their mindset was basically "No one gives a shit about the transfer fee. You just pay the number so you don't miss out."

There were rumors earlier in the summer about some interest in Miretti from Como but nothing came out of it because i think we were insisting on either a direct sell or a higher fee at the time… now after seeing the loan conditions Besiktas got i’m a bit surprised they didn’t try again because he seemed like a good fit for them and also necessary to comply with the rules.
