For context Brendan Rodgers departed with us something like 5-7 points adrift of Hearts. Martin O'Neil came back as caretaker and made us top of the league playing great football in a couple of months.

This guy comes in, loses his first game (to Hearts, even worse) and gives it "I want all the players to just have a good time".

Jj mindvirus is spreading across football. Guy is in for a shock when he gets booed for only beating St Mirren 5-0

After losing to Roma last night Wilfred Nancy is now the first Celtic Manager EVER to lose their first two games.
Not sure why the club gave him such a hard week to start when they could have kept O'Neill and carried that momentum. If they lose to St Mirren he's on a hiding to nothing.

That said, you know when a club makes an appointment and you get the instant impression it's a mistake? This is the feeling I got. He's gone into Celtic at a really unsettled time, probably the worst I can think of for many years. An unheralded French coach from MLS seems a weird choice for that role.

That said, Celtic still have the best squad in Scotland so they should win enough games whoever is manager.

I was thinking the same about his first game. They'd waited so log to get him and were doing well under O'Neill, I don't see why they couldn't have held off until they had an easier run.

But I'm sure they'll still win the league. They have the best squad, Hearts will likely drop too many points and Rangers are miles off it. The fans will lap it up and he'll be called genius and the first few games will be forgotten.

St Mirren won the cup final 3-1 lol, what a mess.

Four games lost now, chat that there have been meetings to discuss ending his contract and getting back either O'Neill or Big Ange.

The A-League is fucking cooked. This one happened today:

Brisbane Roar released a club statement (only took 12 hours for the first one of 2026) and they are "seeking legal advice". Such levels of shithousery LMFAO.

8 games and sacked lol. Losing at home to Rangers was always going to be the final straw.
The football has been utterly dismal as well.

Refreshingly positively surprised at the board making a proactive decision I was worried they'd hold on for ages still.
