I don't know who the ref is going to be for that last game, but you can guarantee that he won't be up to the job, because Scottish refs are fucking awful, to the point where it's either sheer incompetence or bias.

Celtic will have more than a man advantage with the crowd putting pressure on. Hearts need a great game.
This decision is the tip of the iceberg. I see it on a weekly basis, at times it is truly astounding.

Even last weekend, Hearts should have had a late penalty. The ref is called to the monitor and he decides not to give it. After the game the head of referees says to the Hearts manager it should have been a penalty. That decision alone has probably cost them the league. Not to mention the decisions made in the Celtic v Rangers game.

The league is done. There is not a ref in the country that I would trust to make a call against Celtic in this game. I'd actually be surprised if Hearts can lift themselves for the game anyway.

A shameful end to what had finally been an interesting season for a hugely boring league. Hearts fully deserve the title, yes the other two have been poor, but everyone expected them to fall away and they have kept going and played good football.

Same story, different league.

Whether the call is technically correct but inconsistently enforced, plain old incompetence, or outright corruption/favoritism, referees continue to be the storyline week after week after week.

Clear part of a protestant SFA conspiracy to tarnish Celtic's 10-in-a-row by invent asterisks to put next to wur titles
Isn't the ref supposed to be a Rangers fan lol? How does that work? I suppose however suits your angle.

I guess you're always going to have this massive and often ridiculous sway of opinion from one side to the other, but that penalty on top of other recent decisions looks very, very dodgy.

There was a lot of talk about the non-red card from last week. I've never understood this about the Old Firm game in particular, because it's always been about thundering, lunging tackles that would be a red card in basically every modern game under the "reckless/out of control" category, and they often are allowed to slide, but sometimes they're not, and there is no particular reason for it. Like an individual ref will suddenly decide that it's a normal game where normal rules apply. I think that's what annoys people.

Ah man I was 100% joking. Like if I believed that the refs were vehemently anti celtic how would I explain a dodgy var our way

This one was all over after that late penalty previous game, absurd moment swing.
Ridiculous decions over the course of the season which ramped up in recent weeks to an almost comical level.

Today was inevitable.

A shameful ending to an exciting season with fans storming the pitch before the game had finished and the Hearts captain getting attacked.

Tbh SPL could have done with a different winner for many seasons now, it needed that rejuvenation. If Celtic were smashing everyone 4-0 as usual then fair enough, but this one was so shady.

Rangers have so much work to do as well.

Congratulations to Notts County on their promotion to league 1. They beat beckham and nevilles salford fc.

:ciao:
I was there, what a crowd we brought, easily 25,000 Notts fans, my friend was actually handing out the winners medals, he was only invited to do so by Notts a few days before. Incredible experience.
8 of us from Juventus club Londra went as I arranged the tickets with my friend who had the honour to hand out the winners medals. Absolute scenes, how gutted i was I missed the 2023 play off final into league 2, went one step better this time, League 1 is gonna be tasty!

We were singing "we're playing Leicester, you're playing York"

As how Neville is a wanker.

What a great turn around from the club. @JuveJay might agree with me, but Jodi Jones was unplayable yesterday, 3 ACL injuries and was motm yesterday, I'd take him over cambiaso easily.

Tbh I'm amazed he was still playing after his injuries, let alone at that level. I thought he was a good L1, occasional Championship-level player back in his Cov days.

Been there for those winning (and losing) playoff games, brilliant days out when you win.
