My man!

I’m going through same addiction. I started playing almost 2 months ago, but man I’m hooked.

Every available moment I have, I’m trying to play it, I even go out and just hit the ball of the wall, practicing it.

Yep, I started playing about 2 months ago too. I got a beginner racket after a couple of games but I couldn't resist the urge to get a high end one :tuttosport: I'm trying it tomorrow.

Did you have any prior racket sports experience? I didn't but I feel I've progressed a lot these past couple months.

Padel is just another dumb hype.

So, needless to say I've bought a racket myself as well. I've only played it a few times so far, and I'm worse at it than Timothy Weah is at football, but it is A LOT of fun. I understand why it became so popular, so fast.

I know, I renting the racket but eventually I bought this beauty: https://noxsport.com/en/products/equation-advanced

I played tennis but that was like 15 yrs ago, and it was recreational, I wasn’t that good.

Yeah, I noticed some progress, my goal is to play it 2-3 time per week to get really better.
That is a very good racket for a beginner and intermediate player.

I just played with my Nox AT10 Genius 12k (2023) for the first time today and it is a thousand times better than the shit I was using before. I'd recommend it 10/10. I'd definitely advise a beginner to skip the "beginner rackets" (anything under £80) and go for a mid to high end soft racket.

    Padel gang checking in.

Took a few classes with a proper (Argentinian) coach and realised how bad/floaty my backhand was. I should've done this way sooner. I'm finally seeing improvement in my game after months of being in a plateau.

The thing that throws me is the Padel vs Pickleball split between Urope and Murica.

For all the f*ggotry the US accuses Europe of being, pickleball is full-on :ghey:by the USA.
Hella gay. Can Americans please embrace a superior sport for once? Tbf, the UK has been the slowest country in Europe at adopting Padel but we are picking up the pace now.

    I got faith in murica

Padel is blooming in Warsaw as well. I started playing like 1.5 years ago just for fun and since i have background in tennis (played casually whole life) had no problem adapting.
I play mainly casually as i found it as a great way to spend some quality time with friends and have physical exercise at the same time.

We have now like 4 big clubs (from 4 to 10 indoor courts) in Warsaw and sometimes it's impossible to book a court for evening as they tend to be almost fully booked for the next 2 weeks. So yeah, hype is huge. I see where it comes from tho since it is really fun and it's a lot easier to start than tennis/squash.
