Seriously? Guy had 3 separate major/long term injuries last season alone, the rest is irrelevant at this point because we are getting him fresh off this specific injuries and it’s naive to think that he will suddenly come in great shape playing like his pre injury self right away.
so yes?

Since when does it matter how fit he was a few years ago if he is currently coming off three separate long term injuries last season alone!

pretty funny logic here, especially since he recovered and was playing by the end of last season. Also, what is your definition of “long term,“ because he returned from two of those injuries within 7 weeks.

I really hope he is comfortable playing on the left because Bremer is 10x better playing on the right.
No hes more of a right sided defender if anything. As I mentioned earlier, I'm really concerned at the idea of not just this signing because of his injuries but because it'll push Bremer to the left which I don't think he's comfortable in.

So two injuries of 7 weeks each plus another one even longer than that is not long term, ok, i assume adding also the reintegration period is pointless mentioning anyway.

If he comes so be it, i’ll hope he stays fit and does well just as i do with every other player that arrives, but it is a bit funny how some are trying to justify this move blindly and expecting him to be a good ‘coup’ already when we aren’t even sure if he can stay fit for more than a few games in a row, nor if he is even fully ready or in what type of form he is after a year riddled with injuries, there’s every reason to be worried about when Milan who’ve been keeping a close watch on him are also looking to move him on without blinking an eye.
