That will be 3 million pissed down the drain for a player whose best position is a CB in a back 3, moving to a team who won’t play with a back 3 and loves keeping injured players at J Medical.
We already have a Turk. Please don’t be a second one.

I like the option part. But I still don’t know how we’re going to fare with Gatti/Bremer duo.

Ok, so Im trying to be positive here... I guess if the deal is an "option to buy" and not a "obligation" then I would be fine with it.

At least that way if he cant stay fit we can send him back.
Obligation on certain conditions... Juve wanted 70% of the games played and UCL qualification. Milan wanted easier targets so we'll have to wait and see.

My guy thats not true, majority of his games in Milan been CB in 4 man defence (and bit as RB). CB in 3 back line was just for a short while just after Thiaw was signed.

This will end with an obligation and more millions wasted like the cabal and dijalo signings.

Why not buy one fit player and use the NG for the spots ?

I’m aware he’s played as a CB in a 4 man defence and may be competent, but having watched him quite a few times I do think his characteristics serve him best as RCB in a 3.
We’d essentially have 4 CBs who would all prefer to be in a back 3 because they aren’t reliable enough to play in a back 4 consistently in my opinion. Bremer may be an unknown quantity here.

Guys why are you being so negative. Giuntoli hands are tied. he only has 18 days to get a good player it’s not enough time. if only he knew about needing a cb back in April then we wouldn’t have this discussion. It’s not his fault transfer market only opens in August for a month

It’s the first deal I’ve shit on. We are scrambling around to assemble an acceptable squad, and I’d rather we scrounged our pennies to buy a few good starters than piss it away on mediocre depth that isn’t much better than what’s there already.
The way we are fishing for deals makes 3 million feel like a big amount, and we know every deal in reality always works out worse than what is originally reported.

You can shit on any deal but citing 3m is Turk-like.

its funny how much coping is being done here

had anyone suggested kulolo as alternative to Calafiiri back in may or June everyone here would have attacked that person and considered it trolling

but now suddenly it’s ok option at 20m. Injuries don’t matter and him being not even considered until 2 days ago is no big deal.

cope harder throaters
