While almost all other defenders have been out with injuries, which has left Juventus in big trouble throughout the autumn, Kalulu has been the reliable player that the coaches have been able to rely on.

Kalulu may not always make the headlines, but being available and offering the team consistency in his performances is also a useful, and also at times, an under appreciated attribute to have

Consistent and versatile. He can still be a bit reckless at times. Give away unnecessary free-kicks when he should just keep a cool head and not be so aggressive. But I still hold him as our second best CB. I would say his biggest limitation is aerial duels. I am still not convinced when we face big chaps like Thuram but also towering useless players like Petagna. Thuram is of course is a problem for any team, but I worry whenever someone ships in some ball destined for row z but happens to fall down in our area.
