He must improve his scoring ASAP. You can see he is getting frustrated.. but BUT other than that his pressing game and grinta is good to see. You can clearly see that the dude is willing to give 100% for this team which most of the time is what is needed for things to click. I believe he is far better than David so he will be improvement from last year. Vlahovic was maybe a better scorer but everything else in his game is worse the Muani's.
Id love if we could have a player like Mateta or Voltemade as a striker so they can push each other and Kolo could also play as a right winger..

There will be hysterics because he didn't score but he didn't do much wrong. His link up was okay and put in a good shift when pressing. I don't think any of his chances were clear, the header probably was the easiest but he was out jumping the keeper from a standing position, so was always going to be difficult to get it down.

For the price tag he needs to do more though and he gave away far too many needless free-kicks. He looked in noticeably better shape physically than last week.

Come on big dawg I'm replying to a poster asking people not to criticise him.

You think I don't know people criticise Kolo? I'm one of the Tuzzers harshest on him.

6 months of what I mentioned in the preceding sentence.

I'm not interested in the morality of him signing a contract with us and even less interested, in this discussion, of the morality of other contracts we've dished out previously.

We've spent a LOT of time and a big amount of money on this guy. Like it or not the pressure IS on. We've shown faith in him being able to rescue his career from the skip and he needs to repay it starting right away.

How much time does he need to settle, and why? He knows the city, knows most of the players and staff, has played against most of the teams already. Last time he arrived he didn't need to settle, he scored in his first three games.

Not to mention he didn't score in preseason either neither against a Serie B Palermo or our own Serie C youth team.

There are plenty of valid reasons to be worried and highly skeptical.

I hope he turns it on and bangs in 25 in Serie A, and I hope Alex posts Kolo's middle finger and tags me after every one
Matey fitty months free pass for reasons mentioned oh and plus two weeks for dropping kebab cunts ass on the floor and rolling Italian hillbillies barela and acerbi in one sequence now relax will ya he's not bleeding the club dry

He’s wearing the number 9 and cost us 50M. He didn’t do shit. It looked very similar to how he played with Hot Spurts. If Parma was a suburb of Manchester they would be playing in League 1 with their shit squad and this relegation stricker still wouldn’t score.

I thought the same about the last sentence. I really like his work rate, and he makes good decisions with the ball - always passes forward to another attacker and never backwards. To me this shows that he has the right mindset to work hard and do well.

But yeah, we can't have our number 9 missing so many chances. He needs to do much better in front of goal, starting yesterday

Vlahovic would have buried that with his weak foot. Insane to spend 50 mil on Muani + Salary when we could have simply given Vlahovic the 8 mil he wanted
A lot of people laughed at this comment(@JuveJay, @MikeM , @campionesidd @Boksic ). Would like to remind said people that Vlahovic scored a hattrick for Besiktas.
Albeit the Turkish league is not as competitive as Serie A, I still think we made a huge mistake in not re-signing Vlahovic. He is miles better than Muani or Woltemade.
