The competition with Woltemade should do him good if he is ready to push his limits, can’t be allowed to relax or rest on his laurels, which might’ve very well been the case when your main competition is David or the likes…
Now what’d be very ironic(although not surprising) is if our €50M worth of investment in ST ends up getting benched more often than not by someone that only joined on deadline day via a dry loan, then ofc ideally we’ll see them playing together many times too but considering the lack of reliable depth at ST it’s more likely we’ll see them rotating between eachother.

If you want to tell me that there is a ball teed inside the box or just outside and Vlahovic hits it better, I agree. He also may be better than Muani in top form.
I think Woltemade is a different class of talent, an actual pure footballer. If your team makes hundreds of chances maybe Vlahovic IS the right choice, I did think that at times myself. But he's clearly not a top. Because he was free and he's at Besiktas

They also have 2.5 times our revenue, which is useful. We're no longer a big club in that sense. And it is most likely the case that players have never seen us as the top destination like certainly Real Madrid are, and to a lesser extent Barcelona. At least not in 20 years. But this is also the case for any Premier League team, including the best ones. PL clubs rarely sign real superstars like the Spanish two do, but they do make them and have infinite money.
Muani will most likely not end up being worth 50m, and it is a weird fixation on our part. We need to make a top striker from somewhere, identify them before Brighton sign them or Chelsea add as 4th choice. That's our current reality, and the mismanagement compounds it. We aren't at the top table and have years of good work ahead to get near it.
