There is no better available option.
If Osimhen prefers the Turkish league over Serie A, it shows how messed up the situation in Serie A is. No top level striker is willing to come to Serie A anymore. Italy doesn’t have any world class striker right now, which is one of the reasons they missed the WC.
Even a 38‑year‑old Lewandowski could dominate this league, because his level of football is still higher than most of the strikers in Serie A. I'd take him rather than keeping Vla and Milik.

If DeLa wasn’t Napoli president, Osimhen would have been a Juve player years ago. He loves us.

A shame we won’t ever see it.

Never say never! Maybe in the near or distant future who knows… just look at the thread we are discussing this in. :lol:

Who would have thought it could still be a possibility to bring Lewandowski here this late in his career, yet he remains in fact one of the best options we can aim for in our current state.

Can’t disagree with that, but then again none of the current CF’s we have are worth building with, and most likely neither of the other ones we’ll be able to afford or get linked with.

Obviously Lewandowski would have been a short term certainty that brings experience and know-how while we focus on fixing or gambling on other parts of the squad, but clearly we should stay away if the wages are too high, and even more so must avoid by all means offering anything but a 1+1 years contract at this stage of his career.

Im pretty sure we would evwn create more with him. He is no Kane currently but his ability to play with his bsck to the goal and hold onto the ball is still very good. He just cant press that much nowadays. But if we liked what we saw from Milik when he could play then Lewy will be twice the guy.
