Mid table EPL clubs are more attractive than top Serie A clubs
I agree with that. But I'm sure Leao perceives himself as a top player, and I'm not sure his ego will allow him to leave for a mid-tier EPL club. Like is he going to sign with a Sunderland or Bournemouth? or even an Aston Villa, who finished 4th and are CL bound?

I think he'd gladly go to a 10th place Chelsea team not even playing in Europe next season.

Leao is terrible, I can only see him ending up at the saudi league
He looked awesome for Portugal last summer in the Nations League, and he was linked to a bunch of top clubs, but the asking price was massive and Milan wanted to keep him.

He was useless this year playing out of position in an Allegri coached team. I don't really hold that against him, although there are definitely fair questions to be asked about him as a player and effort off the ball.

If he has a good showing in the World Cup, I could see a good club making a run at him.

But yeah, I agree that as of today, I don't view him as a big time player that the big clubs would chase, which is why I questioned what his market would be.

Beyond the dip in form, which could be excused, as you said, by being played out of position or allegris stifling tactics, his attitude is irredeemably rotten. I just don't see how a serious club/manager could take a gamble on him.

Leao is a luxury signing type player. You can't build a team around him. Too inconsistent. But drop him into a world-class team and I think he would make a solid contribution.

His career is at a crossroads and I'm interested to see what happens next.

Kevin De Bruyne endured an injury-hit first season at Napoli, but he is glad Antonio Conte has left the club.

Kevin De Bruyne was glad to see the back of Antonio Conte after the latter left Napoli at the end of the 2025-26 Serie A campaign.

De Bruyne joined Napoli as a free agent last year, and though he started well in Italy, the Belgian then missed a large chunk of the season due to injury.

The playmaker returned to action for the run-in and rounded out the campaign with nine goal involvements in all competitions (five goals, four assists) in 21 appearances.

De Bruyne created 40 chances, a total bettered only by Matteo Politano (51) among his team-mates, as Napoli finished second in Serie A.

A year after leading Napoli to the title, Conte left, and De Bruyne did not hold back in his criticism of his former coach.

Speaking to Het Nieuwsblad, the Belgian said: "Obviously it was difficult for me because Conte has a very different vision of football to mine. In truth, I never had the opportunity to play in my preferred position.

"In any case, I always tried to give my all for the team.

"We played very defensively. If you try to win every game by a one-goal margin with a 4-5-1 formation, you play a certain type of football. At the start of the season, we sat back even deeper.

"Our centre-forward [Rasmus Hojlund] scored just [12 league] goals, so you know the statistics are not going to be great.

"For me, yes, [I am happy Conte left]. As far as I am concerned, he was not obliged to stay. There were promises made last summer on the way that we would be playing, but at the end of the day, not much of it happened.

"I found that a pity. Football needs to be enjoyable, and unfortunately, I found that aspect lacking. There's no point beating around the bush; we have different visions of football. I never got to play in my position under Conte."

Massimiliano Allegri, who was sacked by AC Milan earlier this week, is reportedly in line to take over at Napoli.

De Bruyne, though, is unsure about his future at the club.

"I still have a year left on my contract, but I want to talk about it. There was a lot of talk last year of how we'd play and what we would do, but none of it happened," he said

He think he already safe from crocodile mouth, but not knowing a tiger's mouth waiting for him LOL

I think there is a key difference between Conte and Allegri when it comes to attacking players.

Conte drills in his exact system in training, he wants you to memorise the runs, movements, everything is scripted.

Allegri does allow more creative freedom. Didn't he say something along the lines of he trusts the players to figure it out themselves in the final third? The problem then is you are relying on individual brilliance to win matches.

I do agree though, KDB should probably start looking for another club because Max has turned into a full blown football terrorist, especially when he doesn't have good defensive players.

I'm one of those crazies who watched those great teams
Patience is a virtue. Don’t know how you manage it...

Although i guess much of that average there is likely a large percentage of the viewers that only watched their direct games vs the top teams which had then just been aggregated in the overall statistic.

I was just recording the games. I have all the season matches in English and Italian (I swear I’ll never do it again, watching Pisa is pure torture) :hihi::lol:

Igli Tare is facing a potentially turbulent summer beyond his recent dismissal from Milan, with the Albanian sporting director understood to have been placed under investigation by Albanian authorities on suspicion of money laundering and corruption.

LOL!
