Aside from a couple of good individual performances, this team inspires absolutely no confidence. Same old problems, same concerning patterns.

The midfield remains a massive issue and now I’m not even convinced someone like Kessié alone fixes it. There’s clearly a tactical problem there too. Spalletti has had an entire preseason and several of his requests granted and yet we’re still seeing many of the exact same worrying patterns.

Cambiaso is a fucking prick and should be shipped off to an island inhabited by cannibals. Either he rediscovers himself on the journey or at least some nice tribe gets a decent meal out of it.

Thought kolo did a lot of good things his hold up and link up play was good. His ability to play out wide is good. Needs to finish better. They really need to find someone to push him. Milik and David arent those guys.
