Allegri 2.0 vs Allegri 3.0 it was bound to end in a boring draw. Turns out both teams can't figure things out for themselves upfront

If I ever stop watching Juventus, it means I stop watching football. For me Juventus is football.

12-13 season must have been horrible.

@JCK what do you remember from that year?
How this be when we have the greatest passer (stat wise) in the history of Juve football? ;)

And look I know quite well OFFENSIVELY having Weston and Loca in mid together is nearly good enough. I know less than most here, but very little creatively from having them playing together in 2 man mid. Weston does on occasion have the great pass here and there but you can see he has no consistency with it.

I posted way long ago what I see from plenty here posting of late is WB is ideal to get the most from him. Weston can be at times a chicken with no head (like most of our players presently) but the guy is non-stop in covering ground up and down the field. Better at defense than offense. Might act like a clown off the pitch at times, but listening to me in interviews smart guy.

Looking back on this match, I think we can only conclude that this performance was not "Juventus level."

Or perhaps it was "Juventus level" because it was so bad.

Please discuss.

Tudor being from a special era of Juventus, you’d think he would’ve integrated that into the squad by now.

We’re completely toothless up front. Poor Conceiçāo, and others have moments of flair in the mid, nothing up front to capitalize off of the nice set ups and deliveries that sparingly occur.

I forget which documentary I was watching but it covered Zlatan’s career. In that documentary Zlatan speaks about arriving at the Juventus training ground, how isolated they were from the media, spoke about how intense the environment was and the discipline in their training system. How their sole focus and ultimate goal is to win no matter what circumstances. Everyone on the same page.

What the hell happen to that ethos?

I think about it now compared to then, I kinda blame it on IG and Media today. More concerned about influencers and followers instead of proving it on the pitch and their performances on game day.

Juventus maybe if they’re not doing it already, should implement a strict no phone policy. Restrictions on social media for the players however the club may see this as a money outlet bringing in ad revenue for the club and I feel this counter acts the ultimate goal and dilutes our old values of winning and solid performances on the pitch.

Stop looking at other avenues of revenue and just bring it back to the basics and just be known as the team who wins. Juventus was to win. Simple as that, something we lost sight of.

We’re just too bloated and being pulled different directions by the board members. Idk.

Nowadays you are a big club only based on popularity. Nothing is earned. This is why Manchester United continue to be considered a big club. For many years, Jj has been the Manchester United of Italy, wasting money and not winning. What a disgrace.

We sound so old by the way
