I didnt mean long term but in game, in a game like this. It was perfect opportunity. I find 4312 can work, our wingers arent really wingers in a type like Robben but more hybrid.

-Vicario-
-Celik- Bremer - Lucumi- Kalulu
- Sarr-Loca-Luiz-
-Nico-
Yildiz-Woltemade-

I wanna just see this, even once..

Yeah, because he took out Luiz.

Ruben Amorim admits Milan ‘didn’t deserve to win, or more like Juventus didn’t deserve to lose’ after their 1-1 draw in Turin.
Well yeah, the starting line-up looks ok but you'd have no subs at all for that midfield imo. McKennie is lost in actual CM play and Koop is Koop.

At 1-0 down the heads dropped, players lost confidence (similar to last season) after not conceding a single chance or a dangerous spell up until then, Milan grew in confidence. We looked ok until then so I get the logic in not changing it at that point, with our limited options on the bench.

Wasn’t a bad showing, Milan kept numbers behind the ball and we struggle against every side that does it. Nothing has changed from last season in that regard as yet.

Disappointed at the over-celebration of the goal, and killing time instead of seeing the bigger picture that we were in the ascendancy and may have had a chance to win it. Sadly that appears to be where we are as a club these days, celebrating draws.

we didn't deserve more than a point

but it clearly was a foul before the goal. var is completely useless

I was thinking the same thing.

Kolo was terrible, particularly his hold up. But it looked like a clear stamp on his foot. There is no chance we'd get away with that had we scored.

The ref seemed fixated on letting challenges go and waiting a long time to call fouls. It is clearly a new mindset this season but it was confusing and if anything slowed it down. Too often players were on the ground and grabbing the ball after being fouled and he still didn't blow the whistle.

Frustating draw. Kolo offers nothing and nothings changed from the transfer market other than defensively we look more solid. Milan would have trashed last seasons team. The problem isnt who deserves it or creating something, the problem is who is organised and who is brave enough to add more numbers in the box.
Unfortunately Mckennie would have been useful tonight.

Its nice to see we have decent options coming off the bench but we lack the nous, the intelligence to pass fast, move fast and more importantly how to break milans press.Milan imposed themselves tonight, they looked like a team, we just looked lost.

We didnt upgrade the midfield, and brought a shit forward, and that is why it ended a draw.

We will come good when Muani is ejected like Openda and David. What a waste of 50M. Woltemade to take that position for good. Also, getting these runner type forwards doesn't work, maybe we just look for a pure finisher. I'm tired of these shitty strikers.

agree that the draw is frustrating, very solid game overall from our guys, but ofc 1 shot on target and 1 goal conceded leaves us wondering. Muani is woeful, but we must have at least 50M flop purchase every year, what can you do.

I am hoping Sarr can at least cover more ground and free up the attack a bit more in these type of matches. Luiz is a better choice for the provincial sides than top 6 matchups.

Kolo was abysmal yesterday but that was an as clear of a foul as it gets, their goal should have been called off, and if the roles were reversed we can be certain they’d have been reviewing it and giving the foul in the build up for even less of a contact than this one.

Otherwise i’m content we managed to at least salvage a point here when it was looking like we’re not going to achieve even that against this Milan side that didn’t even look like they really wanted to score at all last night for majority of the game... all in all it’s going to be another very long season that’s for sure, still need to find the cohesion and for the new signings to step it up.

Milan looked shook indeed. They were overwhelmed and starting wasting time at every opportunity they got. So all comments pointing to Milan being a better team can go to the trash bin. They were nowhere. It's all about our dire finishing. We need to get ruthless ASAP and we'll be fine. And midfield needs more attacking impetus.

So there's still a lot of work to be done but there are positives too; apart from 1 moment (in 3 games) our defence is looking very solid.

Thats 2 points lost tbh and it will backfire at the end, but it is what it is when u do transfer so late in the window.
Defence with Lucumi is really promising and i must say that, he looked like a unit there together with Bremer. Kalulu was the worst, but he will be back to his best for sure. Celik while not exactly extra flashy is doing good I dont want to watch Cambiaso ever start here.

Teun Koopmeiners on @SkySport:

"We can do better, we know it and we told each other that in the locker room.
The positive thing is that we never give up, but we can do better.
Spalletti said you need to leave me in peace?
I wouldn't know...
For me, there were no doubts that I would stay, I have always been focused on how I can help the team.
I started well, but I always think about the team."
