Your daddy spent 32M on agent fees and all transfers turned out to be flops

Are you still hyping and praising this walking disaster of a 'CEO'?
Never "hyped and praised him up". Still going with those lame brainfogs?

And no, I'm still not breaking someone's back after his first transfer market. I continue to reserve any judgment either way 'till after this summer.

So you mean we should throw money away know because we spent on agent fees or do you actually agree we shouldn't continue doing that? Thanks in advance for a clear answer.

The silence is deafening @Xperd

I kinda agree with this. Marotta's first mercato in 2010 looked pretty bad because we finished 7th later that season. But in 2012 it turned out that some of those players he bought, like Bonucci and Barzagli, were actually good transfers and in his second mercato he practically built the winning Juve.

I don't expect the same this time, and I doubt that someone out of Zhegrova, David, Openda and Joao Mario will be a vital part of a winning Juve. But I agree with you that it's unfair to "break someone's back" after his first mercato, especially since he inherited a broken team on so many levels.

I won't lose any sleep tho if we get rid of the guy tomorrow already.

Totally! Me neither. Club over any individual, always.

As far I'm concerned Comolli's most positive work was the restructuring of the management obviously (not the awful mercato). The transfer market plans should be Ottolini and Chiellini's now. Let Comolli stay away from the sporting judgments and let him deal with the numbers....

I haven't read back to see whether you guys are talking about Comolli, but those figures will be for 2024-25, not 2025-26. It'll be much of the same either way, the more you spend on incoming transfers the more agent fees you will pay

Problem with these kind of rising italian stars is that once they have had a single decent season their price tag explodes to above €20m and no other Italian clubs can / want to compete for that fee anymore. €30m for a fullback seem nothing for the Premier League clubs or other elites. Destiny Udogie all over again. I think Palestra is more of a wingback anyway, we should focus on bringing Kayode home
