It was, but due to Mavs being far off. Celtics was the best team from first second of the season to the last second. Only competition for that moniker all season was Denver Nuggets. But they weren't good enough to ge to the finals. Which is too bad, cuz it would made it more interesting final.

Everyone needs to give Brad Stevens his flowers.

Got back Horford cheap for the corpse of Kemba Walker, Derrick White for Langford and picks, Jrue for Brogdon and RobWill, PorzinGod and 2 picks (!) For Marcus Smart.

Like this is insane team building he put around the two Jays.

I can't.

I just can't

Sell the fucking team already.

Jj Reddick.

How appropriate that his first name is Jj.

They really want me to throw away my 45 year loyalty to them.

First it was signing LeBron.

Then it was trading away our young core for Anthony Davis.

Then it was a flurry of stupid deals.

Now it is this.

God damnit

Dammit Dammit Dammit all to hell.

This fucking team.

You know what happens when you draft well, are patient with the young core, and make a couple of smart trades?

You are the 2024 world champion Boston Celtics.

And guess what. They're not going anywhere anytime soon.

Considering all the great international players are in the NBA, it’s a pretty safe assumption to call themselves world champions imo.

it’s not like they’re Major League Soccer
