If there will be an improvement, it will be over multiple seasons Arteta style. Which means we are in for a long road of suffering.

Reason enough to support Motta and accept that you don’t change overnight. If you take a gamble on a rookie, take it for the long run. These 1 season knee jerk sackings are what started this mess after Allegri 1.0

Good perspective tbh. Rational and objective.

Can’t really blame other Jj fans who want to conflate the success of the pst (80s & 90s) with the 2011 era where a dynasty was unnecessarily sabotaged internally while Serie A was garbage.

Motta: “I want to win as a coach; that’s why I chose this profession. But for me today winning it’s not an obsession. I must be calm patient and convinced of our strength."

I haven't turned on him yet but if we don't start winning games we may have no choice but to get rid. We can't carry this form on for the rest of the season or it's 10th place for us and back to square 1

Unfortunately we are probably up for another loss with Benfica, since they are playing superior football to us. But I don't even care that much about this result in our situation.
What we have to do is improve our league results. 12 points from the next 5 league games is a must, 12 because I don't expect him to beat Inter, who are better team than us. But Empoli, Como, Cagliari and Hellas we should and have to get 12 points from this games, no excuses here.

There is now depth in the attack, some depth in the midfield (even more since he could play one attacker as CAM in the games with minor teams). He will get one more defender. There are simply no excuses.

We should drop koop from starting lineup, its like playing with a player less, he had 2 decent games since he got here. He is not a bad player, he is out of form or we cant find the right place for him. Either way, yesterday he should have gotten out, mbang in, yildiz center. The thing the worries me is that motta is stubborn or he doesnt he see that the koop is pretty bad at the moment.

I would've liked to see Muani moved to a wing with Vlahovic on as well. Can't help but think if we can get them both in the box it will cause issues for opponents especially late.

Yildiz in the center is something he should've done a long time ago.

the only acceptable words from a juve coach

    oops wrong bread

I always liked the "winning is the only thing that matters" which is why Allegri was still doing his job imo. I get us moving on from him and our defensive strategy but we're swinging way too much in the other direction... Especially when entertainment continues to be this low...

What little confidence we had to hold on and draw games is gone now. There was zero motivation yesterday, Napoli were winning the moment they came out after the break.

Only three players throughout the season have shown their potential: Mbangula, McKennie, and Yildiz. The rest have underwhelmed.

Locatelli for his faults is often the last man covering the defense, and because McKennie is expected to Roberto Carlos down his side, we often end up as a 3 at the back and even more exposed. Motta has introduced a weakness that now gets exposed.

As for the attack, no cohesion and build-up. Our most direct players appear to work the best, but our conversion rate is terrible. I wouldn't care if we made 5 chances a game and scored 3, but we don't and when on the front foot, we don't score more than 1.

This is a high value squad with so much versatility. Even if we're not winning Serie A, top 4 is easy to achieve. Motta is a stubborn manager with no tactics or motivation skills. It would be a miracle to string 3 wins in a row. Get rid of him now, the season is over with Motta. There is a huge chance we miss top 4 with him.

How is there not a media tidal wave of pressure crushing down on this fraud??? No other Juve manager would have been allowed to get away with this points return. He is Del Neri level. This is really. It a bad set of players. Gasperini would be top of the league with this team, Conte would be about 30 points clear and the players would be sweating blood.

No game plan, no style of play, no heart. Honestly makes the job Allegri did last season with no wingers and a far worse central midfield and defence look like it was a miracle. As much as we hated Allegri he was clearly able to get into players minds - Motta has made every single player worse

    Why would there be?

They love watching us fail. As far as most of the media (and Italians in general) are concerned they want him to stay for years.

Because the objective of the season is fourth place and we are in fifth place.
