In half a season we have become less cohesive and completely sterile in our play.
In order to stop leaking goals he has dropped a midfielder to play in a back 3 basically which has had diabolical results in key moments and has killed our midfield even more. Koop is running around doing nothing, Loca is playing center back and poor Thuram is having to do everything.
Our subs are always counter productive, he has not been able to adjust to games or moments in games.
He has refused to pivot from his initial ideas. He is stubborn in his choices and seemingly too arrogant to review his tactical choices and personnel choices. He has seemingly alienated many players and has a knack for crushing player confidence and questionable man management. He can't even use the excuse of having high standards because there are players that play no matter what.
He had fantastic results early on playing Yildiz centrally in Koops spot and has refused to do it again. Baffling.
I really dislike dogmatic coaches, my way or the highway coaches. A great coach must adapt to what he has at his disposal. He must adapt to his players not just expect his players to adapt to him.
What's probably most frustrating is we are seeing the same mistakes made every single game, time has run out now. Either he is out of his depth or too stubborn, both are as bad as each other.
Many players are performing below their level, it's not good enough. He seems to like benching players for long periods, it's very odd.
