: “The goal against #Juventus? I’d been waiting for this match for so long. A real obsession, I thought about it every day. I couldn’t wait to play it to prove my qualities against one of the biggest clubs. Then when I saw it was the 13th, I thought of this incredible coincidence. I felt like something was in the air… The idea of the goal was swirling around in my head. Yes, I was thinking about it, almost feeling it. Immediate feelings? The same ones I felt in that moment. Hard to explain. It’s still all so strange. I played with them for two years. I always try to go all out no matter who I’m facing. Then, well… it was something special. I’ve watched the goal a ton of times, and I barely slept that night. Usually you don’t sleep much when you play in the evening. This time, add in the adrenaline, the excitement, intense sensations: a nearly sleepless night. Spalletti? We crossed paths before the match. After greeting Aquilani, he came looking for me on the bench, I went to meet him, and he complimented me on how I’ve started the season. A gesture that gave me huge pleasure, and for that I thank him. The key thing is to play consistently, and at Sassuolo I’ve found the right situation for that—I’m thrilled about it. I feel the trust from everyone, and we’ll see what happens in the future. I go all out every day. Maybe at Juve I could’ve played a bit more, or at least I hoped so. Maybe I even deserved it, but those aren’t decisions for me, so it’s all good. At Juventus I had several good games, the path I’m on, the decision to come to Sassuolo for more playing time and to show my worth like that—it was the most sensible choice. Now I intend to give everything for this club”

The AJC clowns were once again defecating in their wheelchairs about how Juventus is too much of a pressure environment for young players and we needed Adzic, Licina, and basically all young players go on loan. They must think that buying expensive flops like David Luiz and Koopmeiners is a better path to success, because obviously they have been great dealing with all the pressure after their big moves.

These people will always be stuck in their Italian ways and will never adapt, that's why we need non-Italians running this club. Just a bunch of NPC's at this club, inside and outside of the stadia. :baus:

so he's not useless and doesn't lack any talent anymore?

i'm very happy for him. i'm also glad and equally shocked that the club somehow made a random good call with that buyback clause

Well, he was given plenty chances here maybe he just needed that loan. Anyway as u said, good choice with the buy back

or it's just a combination of natural progress and the fact that he has to play there regularly since they have a thinner squad :boh:

marchisio needed that empoli loan too. maybe it was the best call. i hope he returns and sticks around.

He scored an amazing goal against Inter, then a degenerate old timer came in and fucked him up after Tudor got sacked. I’m glad he’s away from this club and hope he can find some place better than here. Dude looks like Juninho on set pieces.

That long injury from two seasons ago sure put a break to his development and took him longer than expected to find consistency and form again outside of some rare flashes…

Then the continuity of playing regularly with also less added pressure was always the best remedy for him, a loan should have happened since last summer or January at least but i think both Tudor and Spalletti seen the talent and thought they can make better use of him here last season too, which ended up only postponing his growth due to being rarely used.

Needed and needs playing time. He was a disaster here. I saw the Atalanta game live last season and couldn't phantom how he wasn't subbed after 25 min. Talent is there and I am happy to see him grow, hopefully he can return. What I can't make out is where on the pitch is excels and how would that fit into our approach?
