It's very rare to find a completely original brand these days. Things are no longer like before, where the entire body and components of a watch were made solely by the company or the brand itself. Due to labor costs and material expenses, most watch components such as stainless steel cases, are imported from China. They are either Grade 1 materials or even mixed, then assembled and manufactured in Southeast Asian countries. A good example is Philips, whose shaver manufacturing plant is located in Indonesia, and many Philips shavers have "Made in Indonesia" printed on them.
Also the same is about Watch, in the watch market, there are both high quality and low quality replicas of original watches. For example, some watches are marked "AAA," indicating they are made from high quality Chinese steel and materials, and they are priced higher than other counterfeit watches.

I might never own this watch, but I like Casio's innovation, they always integrate new tech into their watches. An authentic brand.
i have a few g-shocks, i like the brand and the line, but somehow a metal g-shock defeats the purpose for me. :boh: these are supposed to be utility workhorses, a shiny metal case makes them look vulnerable

i prefer these for example:
https://www.casio.com/intl/watches/gshock/product.GA-B2100LUU-8A/ or this in almost any color, with or without smart features
https://www.casio.com/intl/watches/gshock/product.DW-5600BBR-1/ or https://www.casio.com/intl/watches/gshock/product.DW-5600UHR-1/ (black + red always a winner combo)

Nice, a combination of classic and modern style in one watch

I was planning to get metallic silver version of this model, but those combinations look hot. I guess I'm getting more than one

I am getting more and more respect for Chinese brands that put their names on the watches they produce even been homages of some models we all know. Some of those manufacturers have built names for themselves that are recognised by watch community. They started making original design high quality pieces comparable with top brands for a fraction of the price.

Top tier Chinese brands have good quality and reasonable prices. The only reason I don’t wear them is that people might notice it, and their names are often unusual and awkward. Compared to expensive brands, they’re actually more cost‑effective and affordable because in the end, wearing a watch is mostly about appearance, not really about telling time.

Speaking of Chinese watches, the ones called high copy are made in China. They replicate famous brands with decent quality and a very affordable price. They’re designed so well that they look almost identical to the original brand, and nobody can notice or tell the difference unless they’re a watch buff.

No matter how stupid and awkward brand name is, this was steal for the price of 25€ on sale and with some coupons at aliexpres

Man, I'm tempting to buy one for myself. The price is pretty low even for me living through an economic crisis. Who would know whether it's Chinese or a luxury brand. The design and case look like a crazy expensive Rolex or Patek Philippe

This morning, I went to a shop in Karaj, Iran. Its display caught my attention because of the Casio watches. I asked the seller to bring me a few original Casio watches, and I took some pictures of them

I’ve never liked watches with busy designs or clunky, oversized displays. I’ve always preferred classic and gentle designs. These are some of my favorites.

PS: not mine, just came across them online while casually scrolling in my free time.

If you like Japanese watches- check out Orient. Especially their more dressy watches are great for the price
I took a glance at their prices, and they were crazy. Still, their designs are excellent and truly impressive. If I’m being honest, they’re absolutely astonishing. Overall, nothing can replace Casio for me, their watches are unique and elegant.
