Terrible first half, so sloppy with his passing. There were 4 passes in a row he gave the ball away.

Had a good second half though. I think Spalletti deserves a bit of credit because his role seemed to change to be more of a pure wingback, with less time on the ball. It played to his strengths of using his running and limited the passing. Plus he got in the box a couple of times and got his goal.

We struggle to play out of pressure it's not just technical but tactical as well our two best chances first half came out of him picking out chico he can pick a pass when there are options and we play with more cohesion

Just move him away from playmaking roles and have him as a support runner/overload in the box. He basically only excels in this situation. Everything else outside of general harrying is mediocre. Need to use players to their strengths.

Now I just need to figure out what Locatelli's strengths are, other than constantly having the look on his face like he's just shat himself.

0 goals and 0 assists in 980 minutes. The only player managing to outdo McKennie in lack of end product is Locatelli, with 0 G/A in 1060 minutes.

And these aren’t fringe players. These are the two who’ve survived every chapter of the banter era. The two with the most appearances in the current Juventus squad.

They’ve become the face of the stagnation. Not disasters, just permanently average. The kind of players who never do enough harm to get dropped, and never do enough good to move the team forward. That’s the worst possible combination. They normalize mediocrity. They spread it. Their ceiling becomes the team’s ceiling.

You look at them and you can trace the whole downfall - safe choices, predictable performances, no spark, no edge. They’re not leaders, even though they captain or have captained the team. They’re not difference-makers, they’re just… there. And the more they stay, the more the team plays like them.

There is no agreement to extend, as of now, between Weston McKennie’s agents and Juventus: they’ll talk again in the next weeks. His contract expires in June 2026 and from MLS have already shown interest in him. Juve’s midfielder has been also approached by two SerieA’s clubs

Spalleti is smart enough to know Weston is a starter from the get-go.

Extend him. There are plenty other players that need to go before to even consider Mckennie is not worthy as many here like to claim

@Alex-444 This video is only available for the USA.

Thanks! Damn, so unlucky the rest of the world missing out on such a great play. Okay, only a still shot.

You won't see any caucasian Italians on Juve going that high.

@Alex-444 Is this one good for the world outside the USA?

Just thinking LMAO how @Boksic would describe the play. Most likely IMO he would say it like a previous play involving Weston. You know where his cross was not struck with enough direct force but just a high trajectory floater that the player heading it in was primarily reason for goal. ;).

LOL lot to dissect with this post. Okay the Monkey not as sophisticated as the human calculator they call Alen, but we'll get through it. So we have 0 goals and 0 assists in 980 minutes this season. I'm trusting Alen as usual just perfect with his addition. :baus:
UPDATE: 1 goal and 0 assists in 1070 minutes.

I'm not finished yet, more to dissect. My numbers will be McKennie as a Juve player from 2020-21 through 2024-25 seasons.
2020-21 - 6 goals and 2 assists in 2103 minutes*
2021-22 - 3 goals and 0 assist in 1759 minutes
2022-23 - 3 goals and 1 assist in 1421 minutes
2023-24 - 0 goals and 7 assists in 2603 minutes

2024-25 - 5 goals and 4 assists in 2873 minutes

I'm counting 17 goals 14 assists in his Juve time before this season that you used in a failed attempt to exploit Weston as an "evil" weakness on our club.

IMO clearly a case of you doing this with your Weston statement ....

We have a few cherry trees and delicious, sweet ones. FYI, there are sour ones also just for cooking. If you have any, just a summation from your posting here thinking they are of the sour, cooking only type.

Why nobody talking about that awesome flick pass to kalulu who made the assist to 2nd Yildiz goal? :(
Because let's be honest, most JJ fans were wrong about him, and they just can't accept it. They hate it. Makes their blood boil.

But in reality, Mckennie is our most versatile player, most consistent, and can play a multitude of positions. He even led the team in assists in previous years. All of these facts enrage the Tuz populous, so instead of giving the guy praise, they avoid his thread like the plague. They would rather fondle themselves over General Conceicao's headless chicken runs, or Locatelli's stat padding and time wasting.

Their silence is deafening.
