He is technically and intelligence lacking player. His only strength is physicality, any other aspects of his game fails miserably against any opposition with more than two brain cells.

I'm just going to 110% disagree without too much laughter on your statemjent. Seriously he's one of the smartest players on the team. How many players can play 3,4,,5, positions and do so performing at worst average? JesusC the world of football has players who can't play a second position adequately. Or primadonnas who for the sake of the team tells the manager, I ain't playing there.

Technically Weston no superstar but has gotten better. Don't see any other players here who can play just one position as good as their main one. Wait a minute, my bsd, this guy as striker/forward appears to be better there than as a CB. :sergio:

Are going to ignore his stats?

9 goals and 7 assists in 42 matches.

we haven’t had a dominant mid like this since pogba prime. And his stats close to Marchiso at his best. Imagine if he had pirlo and pogba next to him he would be on 20 goals easily

Easily one of the most intelligent on the team. Black American footballers can be intelligent, broaden your horizons

You think the ball just falls to him magically? Over and over? 100x more than any other player? Lol

Some people just look at the distance covered metric and occasionally undervalue it. He’s almost always at the top of the chart.

You often make that dash into the box about 10-15 times and it lands to you once if you’re lucky. He’s regularly been in the right place defensively too which wasn’t often the case initially when he joined and is all the more difficult at the moment when he’s practically playing RWB out of possession and as an AM in possession.

The missed chances looked awful to the eye, but considering how many he’s put away this season and the fact we won, hopefully moves the spotlight away from him.

LOL only one match it took. And begin ....

WESTON McKENNIE - 6. Made a pair of key passes and ran like an unhinged distance racer, covering almost every blade of grass on the pitch. Could’ve perhaps been a bit tighter with things in some areas but overall another solid game.
Weston McKennie – 6 The American ran more than anyone else on the pitch. Started the contest as an attacking mifielder before switching to left-back, but his outing lacked a genuine highlight.

Yes Askhen, agree wasn't as good as one rating suggests, but had to play couple different positions. Now was he better than the Italian twins showing yesterday? Undeniably YES!

OMG let's all hope neither sees the pitch on March 26th! :scared:

10-15 times? I think Rabiot would do that 10-15 times in a year. The reason I find Wes intelligent because he does not want the ball. He knows where his teammates are at all times.

Even his goal, I guarantee someone else dribbles with it longer and passes later. But Wes knows if he passes early then he can SPRINT faster to the spot WITHOUT the ball. Then the ball arrives and he can shoot.

Thats why im so annoyed when people can't figure out how he finds balls in the box. It is not luck.

Some people would watch the CM carry it more and pass to Chico later and say what a powerhouse. Maybe even we've seen Thuram do something like that. But Wes doesn't.

Loved him tonight. One of the main reasons why we won.
"Okay so they squandered some chances like we usual do. We usually then give up the first goal in second half. The opposite today. Reason. Motivational pep talk speech from"

. Excellent observation Alen. Yep, immediate goal scored coming out of the break. Unreal Weston is, plays anywhere on the pitch when asked to and assists with coaching also.
