Was shitpostng super late last night, just seen now.

but bro, not asking to be condescending or disrespectful, genuinely curious, how can you listen and like Immortal Technique’s music and support the current regime, they literally stand against everything he raps about.
How can you not listen to him? I listened to him since Middle School and High School and of course at that time I wasn’t political. He’s a gifted ferocious lyricist, conscious rap and great story teller. I’m opened minded, and I am not quick to be dismissive of what is still part of me from my early life. When I drive home from work I still bump his stuff. I can still like a person no matter of what their beliefs are and differences. There is a lot of great talented gifted people in every community we live in, we should cherish it. If not, it is just ignorance and it’s what’s holds society back from progressing and in some ways religion holds the world back as well.

Anyways, you’d expect me to listen to Jason Aldean? Jelly roll? Morgan Wallen? When it comes to music I can listen to anything, however, I cannot listen to country at all. :yuck:

Nice! Haven't heard Shad in forever, but Talib is certified top 10 lyricist. Seen him live 3 times, but last time was like 11 years ago.

Hope he performs Just Begun. But maybe unlucky since its a goated ensemble rap classic:

yeah shad released a new project not too long ago, it’s pretty good

apparently man gonna do some mini course about hip hop at the university of Alberta here in Edmonton, i see my guy doing it like Lupe :beppe:

I've been a longtime Metz fan (shout out to my Canuck homies). But while they've wrapped up business for the time being, Metz's Alex Edkins side project Weird Nightmares is putting out some fun stuff -- including this single today -- and a new album May 1.
