got an invite to a jazz/world music concert and fuck me it was one of the most intensive 1,5 hours of my life as a spectator at any event. 5 indians and a murican created something very special. i'm still a metalhead and still enjoy my slayer or meshuggah live, but damn, this was INTENSE. it was their first european date and they visibly enjoyed the whole show. they played 2 encore's, not very usual either
btw the bassist guy michael league is behind snarky puppy, he worked with the most amazing musicians including some incredible vocalists (might wanna check out lalah hathaway below, she's shockingly good too, she can push out two voices simultaneously lol, see clip at around 6 minutes), he produced their album 'vari' so he's well aware of the singer's qualities, and he was still in complete awe a few times lol.
if they play a show near you and it's not sold out, do yourselves a favor. extremely recommended, it's even better live than on youtube or streaming
