Like the post punk type song he went (every album of his has very experimental different sounds). Fitting for a rebellious politcal tinged project.


Also clear example of he took to heart the Nina Simone quote: " an artists duty is to reflect the times".

I'm a little late that there was a video to this song (by over a year! :lol2:). But it's probably my favorite song on Kim Deal's late 2024 solo album Nobody Loves You More. That bass line is vicious.



The video is directed by, and stars (along with his family) Richard Ayoade - who happens to be a huge Kim Deal fan.

For those who don't know, Kim Deal IMO was the genius behind The Pixies (and The Breeders). Sorry, Fat Frank.

And Richard? Well, his other work speaks for itself. Here he is as a legendary Hammers fan, Maurice Moss:

This is early career Mina, and she is just at the beginning of her six decades of awesomeness. And Adriano Celentano is playing guitar, 13 years before he brilliantly mocked the English language with "Prisencolinensinainciusol".

I love everything in this video. It is 10x cooler than any video this millennium.
