Wasn't it better to keep Daffara and give him a chance? He would have developed and stepped into the first team instead of chasing some old fart! don't get what the transfer department has been doing all these years, they've completely screwed it up
I don't know if the current backup goalie of Parma would've been a better idea. I've barely seen the guy apart from a few highlight videos.

The reasoning can only become clear with time. Right or wrong to bet on another guy, we'll see either way.

Openda and David, who are doing very well with Lyon and AtléticoMadrid, could become very important for the upcoming mercato in terms of sales. Juventus must rid themselves of wrong signings and must purchase the right ones. Doing so under economic constraints or with a capital increase makes all the difference in the world. The hope is that Koopmeiners then wakes up, to be either sold or kept.

you guys think we could get Dondurma from City if they get sent to League 2
jj has to balance the accounts first before signing someone like donnarumma. i guess their usable players like haaland, donnarumma, cherki, ruben dias, bouaddi etc will have better offers

providing they get a severe punishment that is. i'm not even sure they won't sweep it under the carpet and let them get away with a relatively symbolic punishment like a fine of a few tens of millions and a transfer ban for a season (which would stand in the way of a fire sale anyway)

In any event of a hypothetical relegation, I think City would rather sell overseas than to English teams.

And even there teams like Bayern, PSG, Spanish teams would be licking their lips.

JJ stand no chance here and we could potentially spend another season in Europa league.

the will of the players will matter the most. you can't sell those players to jj even if jj had the money. serie a and the club itself has much less of an appeal than even a couple of years ago

They have Everton and some other club 10 point deduction for a far less serious penalty. There is zero chance of just a a fine and transfer ban I think. They are going to make example. Especially since it took them 2 years to come to decision since investigation began

i hope you're right. i do think that state owned clubs shouldn't have been allowed to exist in the first place. they distort the competition by default, let alone city's case when it looks like they systematically broke the rules for at least a decade (and odds are they never stopped that practice). i wouldn't shed a tear if they were relegated to the highest amateur division.

but they are too important, so is the relationship with uae and other middle eastern oil countries, and so is the league itself and its credibility.

we'll see

We should be going after Cavan Sullivan immediately since his Man City timeline is doomed. If management was smart, which they're not, they would put a bug in Mckennie's ear to speak with him. But this club is too busy trying to see what incompetent President we will have next.

"Many denials have been arriving.
The club itself contacted me confirming the denial.
However, based on reliable information, and subsequent confirmation yesterday, I know that, at the end of August and the beginning of September, the strongest name as an internal solution for the presidency of Juventus was, and still is, Ginevra Elkann.
From Ginevra's side, there is availability and a desire to take the position.
The only thing that is certain is that the parties have discussed it recently, that doesn't mean they haven't changed their minds."

"Due to the injuries to Manuel Locatelli and Khéphren Thuram, in addition to the underperformance of Teun Koopmeiners, the priority for Juventus is to sign a midfielder in January.
The profile they are looking for is that of a young and talented player:
▫️Alessandro Romano: The 18-year-old (born in 2006) from Cagliari is of interest to Juve.
However, his price tag is already estimated at around €20M, and the Sardinian club paid just under €6M for him.
Inter and Napoli are also tracking him.
Darryl Bakola: The 17-year-old French talent (born in 2007) signed by Sassuolo from Olympiquede Marseille.
Juventus already attempted approaches for him at the end of August and his valuation could be around €30M."

Juventus wants to lock down the best talents from its youth sector well in advance. The primary name is Elimoghale: a contract adjustment is being evaluated to ward off competition. The management also wants to increasingly maximize the value of Vinovo, transforming it into a source of both talent for the First Team and future mercato revenues. Among the young players already seeing their value is Davide Marchisio.

Forget about haaland and those guys, they'll go wherever they want. The only reason I'm mentioning Donnarumma is because he's Italian. Investing in him we'd secure our GK spot for like 10 years. And after the BS we saw with Di Gregorio I don't think we should be experimenting on the goalkeeper spot ever again.

Donnarumma is 27, would be wildly expensive, and as excellent as he can be is still prone to making some dumb errors like he did against Turkey. At this point I think it's be better to go for Carnesecchi, he's 26 though.

Are you serious? Donnarumma without his mistakes is of the Curtois Noir level.
He does mistakes which puts him one level behind but he is still a WC GK that makes a difference.
Carnesecchi is good but he is also extremely hyped. Has potential but not WC.
His good side is his wages.
Anyway neither will come here.
Carnesecchi would already be here if we want to while Donnarumma is at a nowadays stronger club.
Even with fines and points I doubt they sell their importand players.
