Trying to be as impartial as possible (as you know, I'm not a Comolli fan)...
My rating for this transfer window would be a 6,5...
If Spalletti hadn't specifically requested a striker, my rating would probably have changed to an 8.
Holm is a good backup for Kalulu, and Boga is a question mark, but at least he's a safe bet since he's only on loan, and even if we wanted to buy him, he'd be ridiculously cheap.
The main problem is that they didn't bring in what Spalletti specifically asked for.
Once again, I think this would have been resolved if the board had sat down with Spalletti to discuss the transfer market and what we could realistically bring in, and that way Spalletti would have been more "cautious" when making statements.

Having to rely on David and Openda sucks, another striker with a different profile wouldve helped. Maybe Vlahovic returns but im not relying on that.

Boga is basically just Yildiz insurance, I doubt hes gonna play much. Maybe Yildiz sees more time in a central role and Boga can get on the field
The real exciting move was Licina. Havent watched him play but everything I’ve read suggests hes a legitimate talent that they want in the first team.

boga in: meh, spalletti does well with attacking players, then again i bet he's not in a good shape
pedro felipe out: i don't like it, at least there's a buyback clause

Basically, we didn’t make any major deals and I mentioned that before the transfers.
Except for Holm and Boga, who have been recruited for the main team, the other players will play for the NG team. I can’t really rate these transfers because we’ve made only very slight changes to our incoming players.

Id still give it a 6/10 cause we didn’t waste money. We didn’t sign absolute trash. Holm is an upgrade to an useless Mario. Boga well… well see how fit he is and if we still need him if he’s fit or our season is already over at that time.
So we added a rotational player to the squad and didn’t lose a useful player and didn’t waste money. More than I expected from the management

Is there a buyback clause or just a percentage of future sale clause?
The percentage of future sale, like Tarik with Sassuolo, basically gives us a discount on him if he develops on the future. As it stands with Tarik, our 50% of his future sale basically means we can buy him back at 15m if he were to be sold for 30m. That, coupled with a right of matching any bid, would basically give us control over his future if he develops. I don't hate it but would prefer an outright buyback agreement.

All I will say is maybe UEFA helped us by slapping us with FFP violations, as I feel like we would have wasted money on absolute trash if we were allowed to spend money this window.

Yeah all in Juve control which is a nice change. We will obviously have to pay more to buy him back but don't imagine it'll be something huge, and the loaning club should be compensated for their development process of "our" player. We should be looking at this method more often, but it's not always as easy as that to get deals over the line.
For all the dislike I have at us getting a director from the French league (and not even a particularly good one), I think he's at least been smarter with out sales and transfers go so far.
Gatti will be the big test for me. Can we get 25-30m from some EPL club for him. We certainly SHOULD be able to if you see the absolute braindead defenders that EPL clubs buy. Also, lowkey, I think it'd be a great move for Gatti. He'd look like a fucking worldclass CB in the EPL lmao
