Sepp Blatter was a proper old school crook, a better class of criminal. Manilla envelopes filled with cash shoved under hotel doors. Money flowing through shady tax havens. Family-friendly corruption for all the local community to enjoy.

Infantino is a nouveau riche kind of crook. Just does whatever he wants and doesn't even try to hide it. Changes the rules to fit his goals and remove the need to pass money under the table. Like your local off-licence getting replaced by a vape shop with AI images plastered on the walls.

Unless UEFA have the balls to walk away and refuse participation, this will 100% go through. UEFA has only 55 members. FIFA votes work on a one-member, one-vote principle. If every European nation rejects the plan, that still leaves 156 associations across the globe, and it would require only a simple majority to pass the proposal.
I cant wait for the moment when Infantino says "Today I feel jobless"

Trump business 101.

I suppose if Infantino sees him doing this as the leading 'democratic' politician in the world he thinks fuck it, I can do this in the smaller world of football.

Who would you put? Thiago Silva? Aldair? Probably the only two you can put in the conversation (as this list seems to start in the 1970s).
My candidates will be Aldair, Lucio and T.Silva (not in any particular order). I know if people says Brazil most will mention how good their attacking talents. But their defenders deserve any mention too, otherwise they can't win any world cup. Van Dijk shouldn't be in this list.
