Although majority of that list is indeed accurate i’d still say that arguably Chiellini could easily be inserted in the place of a couple from there.

Seeing this now. Chiellini would definitely make it compared to some of the other overrated hacks in this list. But an objective list ? He probably won’t be be a slam dunk. The game has sees many superior CBs as much as i love Chiello. Great defender yes. An all timer, no.

It’s all largely subjective anyway, i haven’t even really seen or watched at least half of those in that list there outside of some clips or few games…

However i did watch Chiellini closely for majority of his career and seen him grow steadily into legendary status, he had his ups and downs during such a long and injury riddled career but when he was at his absolute best and fully fit he was as dominant as any CB on that list, rarely seen a defender singlehandedly winning us and Italy key games or carrying the team when it struggled most the way he did, which, for me very few in this era have been as decisive overall or as consistent for such a long term.
