Yeah over the last 24hours i think we’ve seen several different rumors coming up with all sort of reasons and explanations, some were just explaining how PSG decided they want to keep and no longer loan him out while at night turns out that Aston Villa hijacked PSG’s deal altogether lol

And a few other similar scenarios… but if you ask me i’d probably assume that Aston Villa just matched the same offer and actually promised him an automatic starting role, which based on earlier rumors was the main obstacle between PSG and Suzuki whom didn’t want to be a backup initially nor go on endless loans, something of the likes anyway.

this article basically says dibu, despite public statements by villa, still wants to leave and there seems to be movement on that front now so villa is acting quickly with Suzuki. Dibu is due back in training on Monday so hopefully a resolution soon.

Yup i don’t doubt that he is actually on his way to Aston Villa now, just saying that there’s been so many different scenarios put out there by journos as to why it collapsed for us and now for PSG too which directly contradict each other… though atm it’s quite obvious that he got more guarantees from Villa in terms of a starting spot while overall they seem to have also made peace with the fact Dibu wants to leave, however this latest part remains to be seen how it actually pans out.
It wasn't because PSG couldnt afford it as such, there's a rule in France about capping agent comissions, I think its like 10% of the fee or something like that, the agent made it impossible/illegal for PSG to agree to.
I believe that Suzuki would prefer to be #1 at Aston Villa rather than wait and see at PSG. Good move on his part, works in our favour, and big fuck you to PSG.
