Sent me a voice in English and asked me for investment. Love these scammers. I have received more than 10 messages like this just in one week..

I love wasting scammers' time, making them think I’m their next big payday. Lately though, I think I’ve been put on their "do not scam" list.
Their grammar would let anyone know they're a scammer. If what they are asking is profitable and a real investment, I will accept their request, but even their profile picture is a fake and random photo that you can find anywhere on the net. They first ask you to sign up on a website and transfer money to buy fake bitcoin, after you follow the instructions they give, they suddenly disappear and do not give you any answer. Some trusted fellows that advised me to buy Tether when it drops and hang on to it, and then sell on a peak. The process of buying Tether is through Trust Wallet and since Iran is under sanctions, use the Alpari site as an intermediary for currency conversion and transfer which I'm reluctant to get into this type of trade.

I love the idiots on the Internet.

So this story about Goldman Sachs announcing a "stablecoin gold rush" is all over the place with breathless fanbois salivating at how it will start raining gold.

https://fortune.com/2025/08/20/goldman-sachs-stablecoin-gold-rush/

So I explain to a few of these clown boys that a stablecoin, by design, has zero returns. At least relative to the currency which it targets. Hence you'd be better off buying Labubus if you think buying stablecoins is going to make you rich.

Because, and it is even in the name, a stablecoin just sits there and doesn't appreciate relative to its indexed currency if everything goes well.

The clown posse is up in arms, saying that I'm just a trad-fi apologist.

Crypto markets crashed again a few days ago.

I love seeing these "Bart Simpson" trading patterns. It strongly suggests market manipulation.

So many idiots (usually MAGA supporters) shilling shit coins like XRP on YouTube. Hope they all lost their shirt.

I love how this thread is from 2017. How many of you are swimming in money? Or in debt? Or forgot your 2017 passwords? lol I wish I got in in 2017.

Jokes aside. I've been investing crypto since 2021 with two main streams:
1. Managed by my cousin who runs a b0t trading platform (Saxo bank, and SIFU encryption....I suck at the jargon). This one's doing amazing, and is basically my retirement + college funds for kids 2030 onwards...
2. Managed by myself experimentally via several apps- like Binance, ByBit (both very similar) and now most recently now I've switched to OKX. This one WAS...doing amazing, but after "UpTober" of 2025 it's been tanking, and never looking back. Though still in the "green" (as I've DCA'd at lower prices...) was in double-digit growth....now I'm at single digits on all coins.... Like +5%, +2% etc... as if all my work was done for nothing. I wish I flipped it when I could, but now it's just HODL.

How is everyone else doing?

Taken several losses but still surviving crypto winter after winter. The strong conviction plays are pure HODL since 2017 and those remain unchanged. A few assets staked. Hoping to take some profits in the next bull run (if we ever see another)

I mean, I can put this in any "Finance" AI prompt and get an answer. But I'd prefer to ask real human advice. I have several wallets where I've started at various points. All of them are "OK" with with like single digit % growth. Except for one, where I am like like -50% deep in the red.

Advice?

It's on my SwissQuote app.

It's just:
BTC 0.057 (-33%)
ETH 1.07 (-50%)
SOL 5.00 (-42%)
XRP 594.27 (-55%)

That's it. Just HODL'ing. Most of it is BTC @ an average of $105K buying price (yes...I was going nuts...lol), and ETH when it was in the $2700 region.

I am sooo f*cking cooked, and no idea whether to cash out, or just forget about it and wait it out.

I was basically DCA'ing a lot during 2024-2025 on it....and I was greening like HELL making profits and thinking, damn I'm growing the shit out of it. Then second-half of October 2025 happened, and I've been deep in the red ever since.

How f*cked am I? Be honest. :rolleyes2:

- Do you need the money now or in the immediate future?
- Obviously it would suck, but if goes to 0 would you be greatly or irreversibly harmed financially?
- Would you buy today at the current price?
- Do you believe there is a good chance of a recovery?
- Do you believe you'd get better returns elsewhere?

I don't own any crypto, but these general considerations could be applied to any assets really as I'm sure you know. Just went through it myself with some stocks I was down on, ended up selling 2 and keeping 2.
