If he accepts being backup and stays physically healthy, he would be an option playing in the rotation system for upcoming Coppa games. This would give Bremer, Kalulu and Mario a rest for important games in the CL and prevent putting pressure on the main squad.

This dude gets off the more he touches the ball doesn't he? has to take 5, 6 touches until opposition completely shifts to the side his carrying the ball towards only for him to play a dead ball to center at the end.
And if we thought bonuccis ass tackles were bad well here's gatti displaying whole nother level of elegant defending with sticking leg causing a giant hole in the process

Yes he is clumsy and a mistake waiting to happen at any time but even so he should have literally solved the game for us last night by getting Verona’s best player red carded in the first half if not for biased and blatant referees choosing to downplay the incident…

He should seriously consider pressing assault charges after seeing on the replays Orban’s clear intentions to hurt him there.

Awful, just awful.

I could maybe see an argument to endure his brainless mistakes if he was tough to beat defensively. But for a guy you'd expect to do well in 1 v 1s and even just basic defending, he is terrible.

No reason whatsoever to start this guy with Kalulu in th squad. Kalulu at RCB and someone more attacking at RWB is a worryingly obvious move that Tudor seems to ignore.

The idea that the drop in quality with Kalulu at RWB was less than Gatti at RCB was I think based on Bremer being able to carry the defence at first and Gatti and Kelly getting better over time.

Time to abandon. McKennie at RWB if we have to - no point dropping the quality of two positions rather than just one.
