He scored 11 goals in 12 games.
Why did we sell him? We could’ve sent him out on loan to other teams. Selling him for 7M, what was the point of that?

The point was that was at best his exact value. He had achieved nothing in Brazil prior, and we acquired him for 2.5m due to it.

And for us he did nothing either, he was in reserve team and injured for 3 years. In 3 years played 9 games for Juve, and 20 games in a failed loan period in Frosinone.

So us getting 7m for such little output and wrecked by injuries, was a decent outcome. There's no point to keep sending someone out on loan for years when the 3 years they were on your books was just injuries and lukewarm performances.

Its good he is showing out for Cruizero in year 2025 finally. Good for him. Last year he had 16 games 2 goals for them as CF. So nice it finally clicks for him. It helps Cruizero is one of the best teams there this season, with Flamengo.

Flamengo wants KaioJorge from #Cruzeiro and has offered 30 million. At the moment, Cruzeiro has rejected the offer, and wants at least 40.

Juventus is an interested spectator because it has a 30% sell-on clause on the striker.

Another post-Jj glow up.

Has anybody not had one? Serious question who was the last player we sold who didn't look significantly better afterwards?

% of future sale is okay but start putting fucking buybacks in!

Selling him wasn't a mistake

Sell on clause is good, hopefully he goes for a big price
Back then, we had a much better policy when it came to selling players. We often used loan deals with buy-back clauses, which gave us a safety option with talents Juve had identified and developed, while still retaining some control over them. I don’t know what changed, but that approach has faded significantly. In recent years, we’ve sold many promising players for very low fees, without any protective or advantageous clauses. In reality, we still invest in scouting and developing talent to some extent, but we barely benefit from it anymore.
