When I was a kid, we spent our summers playing Sega and Mortal Kombat.
Those were the days, I missed them

Does it run games slowly and freeze?
Generally its good if you're just using it to pass a few hours, I wouldn't go mad price wise, I think I paid less than £15 for it, it's basically a R36s copy, even if it's branded as a real one, unfortunately there are alot of fake R36s handheld consoles, only thing with the real one is that the OS software is much better, and the general build quality but that's about it, asides from perhaps considering switching everything to a better micro SD card as these consoles use a cheap one, and I fear it could just die on me at any point.

so even buying a cheaper fake one isn't going to be that much of a difference imo. But otherwise running the games seem ok for the most parts, general N64 emulation is terrible and has been for as long as I can remember. I tried doing the same when I modded my PSP to do this same job some years ago.

I don't play much time, modern games are not my thing. I often spend 1-2 hours playing old school games they entertain me and make nostalgia vibe. I want a handy and quality console to run games smoothly on a budget.

I'd probably go for something like this then, I wouldn't go more than £20 for it. Otherwise I'd sooner mod a PSP and download whatever roms you want onto the micro SD via the PSP memory card adapter

They are remaking Max Payne. One of the best game ever made imo.
I replayed that a few years ago on the PS2, ah I forgot how frustrating it got at times, especially that blood trail and you're having to jump across or jump down, if you miss you start again with the annoying screams of a baby. Still an awesome game over all.
