The defending duties for a wingback/wide midfielder is alot easier, because he isn't isolated. He has a wide CB that is there to cover or help assist him almost at all times.

Yeah that’s when we defend deep and are organized at the back, which rarely happens these days.

I’ve seen our wb being isolated and on 1on1 way to often the last season - especially when you consider that’s Gatti or Kelly „covering“
