People remember his miss in front of the goal only. It was a bad one though.
Yes I agree with most people having that thought, but IMO it was a quick reaction kick and not one expecting you were going to have that easy shot opportunity, let alone a chance at all.. Some of the clowns on this team might have not even put it on goal.

He should be a backup wingback for us. I don't even mind if he starts given our wingback options.

But he shouldn't ever play as a midfielder. He doesn't have the passing ability, touch or positional sense to play there.

He killed our momentum every time he touched the ball. Missed pass after missed pass in the first half. As a starter in midfield? Absolutely not. At best, he’s a wingback option. Honestly, I’d even take him over Cambiaso, the wooden puppet.

This guy had 67% passing accuracy last night. That should be enough to never be played in midfield again, but it has happened so many times that it feels like a lost cause.

Lets see, how did his numbers compare to the rest of the team

Locatelli 94%
David 93%
Cambiaso 89%
Yildiz 87%
Koopmeiners 86%
All of our CBs
PERIN
McKennie 67%

That is horrendous

Then the number of accurate passes:
Locatelli 72
McKennie 20

That is our double pivot midfield. Thuram, in McKennie's position, makes an average of 50 passes a game.

If this club had Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba, and Marchisio I’d be like yeah, Mckennie has no business playing here.

But look at this side. The only good players are Kebab, Thuram, and Bremer, with special mention of Lulu being terrorized.

When we spend 60M on a useless Dutch fucker like Koopmeiners who can’t even run, you lot look rather silly.

watched most of the match and thought mckennie was pretty weightless and invisible

then i checked his stats. he had one single duel (that he lost) during 90 minutes. one duel at the middle of the pitch. he recovered zero balls (with one clearance) and lost possession 11 times.

yeah he was useless.

You're saying literally all he did was run a lot and help his friends?
