ofc he will find form back in England,
Nuno will put his arms around DL and he will be back to his Aston Villa levels and back playing with the NT, and who knows DL will get a big money move in the next couple of years by which point we'll still be stuck with an asylum full of fuckers underperforming and earning too much.

Considering DL barely played last season, selling him at all is already an accomplishment. I don’t see why people are shocked by the fee.
I personally believe the likelihood that the one bad year of his career and us underselling when we want/need a dominant midfielder might come back to haunt us is closer to 50/50 than people realize.

Time will tell.

I wouldn't rule that out, but honestly that's how it feels with everything we do. Nothing is certain, from Comolli to Tudor to the transfers. Then I think, how bad can it really get? Hopefully not worse than last season or the one before.

As for Luiz, no doubt he's a good player, but it was never going to work here. Mentally, he'd already checked out. Best for both sides to move on with as little damage as possible.

Had high expectations of him but was a huge letdown, his quality was palpable but feels like he never got going here for whatever reasons so all in all good riddance i think it’s a fair deal, as long as it’s an obligation to buy and not option we’re good i guess.
